We review the historical background of Hamiltionian system and explain its relation with symplectic geometry.  In the later, we introduce some interesting theories on both Hamiltonian system and symplectic geometry, including Gromov-Witten theory, Maslov index theory, Symplectic Field theory. Possible developments in the future will also be briefly mentioned. In this talk, I will explain things as easy as possible. There are no hard proof and all students and teachers are welcome.
